"Rising out of the island of Malta, ABYSMAL TORMENT emerged as a violent death grind bullet destined to spread ear crushing brutality. Proud to stick to its roots, they started late 2000 though under the name MOLESTED. Although undergoing various line up changes, the band hit the stage for the first time in 2002. After a massive response, they never looked back and shared the stage with various local and foreign bands. With a burning ambition to spread their sick music to a wider audience ABYSMAL TORMENT hit the studios for the first time in 2004 to record their debut MCD entitled "Incised Wound Suicide", consisting of five “drum kit mashing, guitar shredding, vocal chord wrecking ultra fucking brutal death metal” tracks. Since then, they have released 2 full-lenght in 2006 and 2009, and they are currently working new explosive material. Musically Abysmal Torment relies on speed stimulated tempos, breakdowns and a dual assault of varying gurgling vocals. A glance at the lyrical content illustrates that there is no ordinary gory mentality at work here and the knowledgeable treatment of the subject matters add more depth to the Abysmal Torment mix.

INSISION crawled out of the ashes of underground acts EMBALMER and ILDOOR in Stockholm, Sweden. The aim was to create brutal Death Metal. But they are one of those bands that make Death Metal as if it came from America. Yes, INSISION has a decidedly non-Swedish sound! The debut MCD "The Dead Live On" was recorded at the Necromorbus Studio, and released shortly after. No other Swedish band had ever sounded as American as INSISION. After some few more demos, an EP and a split EP with Inveracity, INSISION finally signed to Earache/Wicked World in 2002 and released the full-length debut "Beneath the Folds of the Flesh". The response to the album was awesome and bring them more tours and gigs. INSISION was revealed to the world.
Their music is fast and sounds like a mix between the riffs of Morbid Angel, the speed and brutality of Cannibal Corpse and the technicality and songwriting from Cryptopsy.

CORPUS MORTALE has been delivering extreme death metal the way it was meant to be since 1993. In the early years the band received great recognition in the underground through the demo’s “Corpus Mortale” 1995 and “Integration” 1996 but also through numerous successful concerts in Denmark and Germany. In 2003 they signed a record deal with Dutch label Neurotic Records, and released their debut album “With Lewd Demeanor”. The album was supported by a European promotion tour along with Konkhra, Homo Iratus & Illnath. Then 3 years later, the band went to the studio two times back-to-back, for the release of a 3 song ep “Seize The Moment of Murder” and their second album “A New Species of Deviants”, and they are currently working on material for a new album. Expect chunky riffing, double bass, growled vocals, and songs about death, human suffering, and other brutal shit that bands of that kind tend to write about. It’s a good solid ride down that old familiar path of morbidity.

HIDEOUS DIVINITY were formed in 2007, after the guitarist of HOUR OF PENANCE, originally from Italy, moved to Norway. He and Carlos, who was still living in Rome, recruted the drummer of HOUR OF PENANCE, and the two songs "Sinful Star Necrolatry" demo were recorded. The aim was to come out with some real, straight-in-your-face unholy death metal. For being a three piece band, they sound extremely tight and the promo is very well produced. The style is a mixture of blasphemous death metal (ala Morbid Angel and Deicide) mixed with the new school brutality of bands such as Decapitated, Hour of Penance, Aeon, and Spawn of Possession. If you like your death metal very heavy and technically efficient, look no further than Hideous Divinity.
