FILM: Little Miss Sunshine
“Losers are people who are so afraid of winning, they don’t even try. Now – you’re trying, right?”
“Little Miss Sunshine”, follows the dysfunctional family of Olive, a seven years old girl who is about to participate in a pageant. During this crazy road trip to the pageant, all the family problems and drama converge into this Volkswagen Kombi.
This movie might just cure your depression. Unspoken reactions can be funnier than dialogue, and the most satisfying comedy can be found in moments of pain. This movie is about a lot of issues in the American society, and issues any family can encounter in their lives.
This movie will make you cry, laugh and maybe think about your own life. Isn’t that what we want from movies? If yes, come to see it. If not, well it’s still a movie that should be on your “to watch before you die” list. With a tremendous collection of actors, this movie is an authentic expression of character.
Come to the screening if you got the reference in the headline. If you didn’t, definitely come to the screening!
