Info-meeting for GalleriNeuf

Do you like looking at and talking about art? Are you interested in how one runs a gallery? Would you like to learn and try out how to present information and concepts in a specific room or space? Are you a student at a higher education in Oslo?

If yes, then:

Have you ever thought about what an exhibition is? How one approaches an object inside a coordinates space, and what it is that makes an exhibition a good or a bad one? Do you have any exhibition ideas of your own?

If again yes: Galleri Neuf needs you!

Galleri Neuf, a non-profit student association that operates inside of Chateau Neuf, are looking for new members with new ideas and initiatives for what they want to engage in and make for projects. These would preferably revolve around the words art, exhibition, installation, room, space, communication and experience (though not in a posh or pretentious way – just as a matter of fact).

Galleri Neuf will have a short information meeting for people who are interested in joining us and take use of our gallery space on the 25th of January. The meeting will take place at Chateau Neuf at 16:30. The meeting will last for about an hour or less.
We will present the association and talk about what’s going to happen in the coming semester.
This meeting will be for both current members and those of you who wish to become a member.

! We are looking for two new board-members as well, the positions available are PR and internal-activity (responsible for member activities). If you are interested in being a member of the board you should definitely come to the meeting, since this is when we will fill these positions! Be prepared to introduce yourself and why you want the position. !
