About DNS
The Norwegian Student Society (Det Norske Studentersamfund, DNS) is the second home to many of the students in Oslo, and is situated in beautiful surroundings at Chateau Neuf, Majorstuen. We are open Monday through to Saturday, and offer food and beverages in our bars and café, concerts, plays, debates, movies and much more!
Become a member
The Norwegian Student Society has united students to cultural, political, academic and social activity since it was established in 1813. Membership benefits include discounts in the bar and reduced cover charge on all events. You’ll get information about everything happening at DNS, in addition to have a saying in the member meetings and assemblies.

A membership costs 200 Norwegian Kroner (NOK). The membership lasts until the start of the fall semester (August 1).
